Locking threads

Well then the staff can lock it. XD does it really matter? if we had permission to lock our own threads, it would be the same as staff locking our threads.

I feel like that's more work that the devs don't need. Maybe suggest this when they're not buried up to their eyeballs in bug fixes and EULA-enforced changes?

This isn't a big deal and it's really not a huge priority for them. There are good suggestions, like turning down default server render distance to reduce lag or to add a certain item to a shop. Then there's suggestions like "I think 0's and o's look too similar. You should change them." which are good, but are REALLY unimportant when compared to the major issues at hand.

That's not to say I disagree with you; I would love to be able to lock my own threads or edit my posts or any other number of things that the staff can do. I'm just stating the obvious when I say that a small quirk like this isn't exactly at the top of their to-do list. The creative server's crashing, Skyblock's laggy and there's people practically rioting about the mob spawn rate, the games have plenty of glitches to be hammered out, and all of this on top of their development of new donor perks post-EULA.

Editing your own comments will cause fights, as we've been over before, see previous threads on this issue. If you want a thread locked, just ask staff? At least currently that's what you should just do.
