Should Cubecraft do something against offenders and add a word filter

With this thread I want to address not only the staffs of Cubecraft but also to all people who play on Cubecraft.
There are one or two issues in my opinion which I would like to speak about this.

For one would be harder punishments for racism, sexism and any other type of offense and for one the missing awareness made through a non-existing word filter.

The first issue would be the problems which come with racism and sexism.
Everyone has most likely encountered racism or sexism on Cubecraft and usually these people get muted, however their mute won't last for long. They get the usual mute punishment.
In fact if they haven't been punished yet, they will just get a warning or a mute for one day which is in my opinion not enough.
I am not saying the Cubecraft Staff does a bad job, indeed they do a great job with other things such as creating new unique games which can't be found on any other server, however there are things in my opinion that can be improved or done better.
Racism and sexism are things which shouldn't be tolerated anywhere and everyone should do their part to condemn racism and sexism.
In my opinion there can be done much regarding such situations and there should be done more because if we think about it, racists and sexists can be ruining your mood and in times like we are going through at the moment, it is even much more important to do something against racism and sexism.

The 2nd issue I want to address is about a missing word filter system on cubecraft.
Cubecraft doesn't have one which is in my opinion a disadvantage, especially when you get muted for saying a word which you shouldn't have said but weren't aware of it.
I don't say they shouldn't be unmuted but muting them is in my opinion a wrong approach as well.
Let's just say someone says a word he/she isn't supposed to say, but they weren't aware of it, they would get muted.
The advantage of a word filter plugin is, if the person would now say something they aren't supposed to say, and they type it in the chat, their message gets blocked and they get a warning message.
People would be made aware that this word is mutable and wouldn't try to say it.
It won't prevent people from bypassing the filter system but what they do is at their own risk.
Some people might find a world filter annoying but a mute is much more annoying, and I am speaking here with experience.

To change the mute system and creating a word filter plugin will require a lot of time, but I am sure that the cubecraft Staff is able to tackle the task and the problems it arises with.

About the missing filter system, I just want to say that they have a filter system. If you say something that's not allowed, your message will be blocked for other players. Only you can see the message, so you think you sent a message, but actually didn't. If players don't know their message is blocked, they won't try to bypass the chat filter. They just think they can swear without any problems, preventing them to bypass chatfilters.

Our racism (hate speech) punishment track is different from the normal punishment track. We do not warn for hate speech, but immediately mute.

We have one, but i’m not sure how much you’re aware of how it works. If you swear in chat, but the filter picks it up, you won’t see anything ordinary. It looks to you like the message has been sent like normal, but it actually gets filtered out. This is to prevent people from knowing what is filtered and what not. If someone does bypass a swearword, please report them so we can also forward the bypass.

I do have seen a few cases where people said something racist or were sexual harassing someone and all they got was a normal punishment.
May I ask when the hate speech punishment came into system?
If it was recently, then it was something I wasn't aware of.
If it was a few months ago, then in my opinion there should be done more to condemn it.

May I ask why you don't get to know the word which is punishable?
I mean, as I have mentioned, it would increase awareness in the people not to say it, if they don't know it, they might continue to say it.

And there are people who are afraid to say something in the chat and if they say one wrong word, they get muted.

The punishment tracks are perfect in my opinion. One problem that I've come across a few times is that moderators accept appeals too quickly (in my opinion).
I've reported a lot of players for swearing, especially in Assasinations, and for what I've seen some of them
never seem to change their behaviour. Some I've reported more than 5 times, which means they should have been permmuted by now. Still however, they keep getting unmuted over and over again because their appeals get accepted each time. The problem with this is that the punishment which they appealed for will be removed once the appeal is accepted. For instance if they got a 1 day, this means that if they do it again they will get a 1 day mute again instead of a harder punishment.

I feel like the removed punishments should at least be visible to staff, if not impacting the next punishment for that offence. This way moderators can think twice before accepting the 10th appeal for swearing by a certain player.

It’s been here for months, if not years. If you ever notice a Moderator not following the punishment track like they should, you can always contact them or make a staff feedback thread.

It’s so spambots don’t know how to bypass the filter and for players that will abuse the system

So it's not like before where it would say "You are not allowed to say this"?

I guess the suggestion is concerned that even though it mutes instantly, the mute is quite short?

I mean, I do feel like 3 day mute is kinda short for consciously spewing hate speech (which I have unfortunately witnessed several times), especially considering how threatening is 30 days.

I think that the effect of a mute, warn or any form of punishment is a fairly blurred line.
Many servers approach it in different ways; some go straight to harsh punishments (I've seen monthly bans for one chat violation), some allow for up to five warnings before any sort of mute. From my own experience of seeing players spew racist, homophobic or other offensive slurs in chat, I think that CubeCraft has a decent system with dealing with chat offenses.
A side suggestion or query; Why can ranked players not /report for chat offenses or excessive toxicity if a player is continuously breaking a rule? I understand that there is "no evidence" to back up the claim, but surely it'd be a useful feature?
