Java which pvp do you prefer? 1.8 or 1.9 ??

eh seen that many people prefer 1.8 and another part 1.9 and as cubecraft is the only server with the pvp of 1.9 I would like to know your opinion that pvp you prefer more :)

Personally, it switches day to day, I like 1.9 PvP for Skywars and Eggwars, but I prefer 1.8 for duels (I do like 1.9 duels but 1.8 duels are better in my opinion)

I personally prefer 1.9 pvp. In my opinion, it's more enjoyable than 1.8 pvp, and you can make a lot of tactics with it.

I prefer 1.9 combat over 1.8. I like the timing-based mechanics. Although it's not as fast-paced as many would want, there are countless tactics to create advantages over others such as strafing, combining fighting whilst building, and more! I still do enjoy 1.8 PVP, however, I dislike the tactics used such as using a fishing rod and me basically breaking my mouse, however, that's my personal opinion. The entire topic is very controversial.

¿¿Te estoy diciendo la verdad ?? una vez que mi mause se descompone al hacer 23 clips por segundo a partir de ese momento, prefiero jugar 1.9 un poco más, pero personalmente prefiero 1.8 XD

I mean I practically break my mouse trying to click fast since I suck at 1.8 PVP.

I'd say 1.8 is easier to get into to a general demographic, however, 1.9 is way easier to use once a player has the hang of it, hence why a lot of players on 1.9 aren't the most skillful. Basically they both would cancel out.

I'm really used to playing 1.8. Recently I have been trying to get better at 1.9, but I think 1.8 suits me better because I have been playing it since I started playing Minecraft.

Personally, I don't mind, I can do any, 1.8 and 1.9 if I had a preference however it would be 1.8

I like 1.8 better. I'm way better at 1.9 because it's a lot easier, but 1.9 is slower and somewhat boring sometimes. 1.8 also can allow people of really high skill to kill groups easier such as a 1v3, so it really does highlight the skills of the individual player during times of PVP. The only thing I don't like is that it's easier to get 1.8 hacks or cheats such as autoclickers, although autoclickers can also help timing in 1.9 as well.

I would 100% support 1.8, I've played since 2014 and PVP has been a big thing. The combos and the use of rod are just amazing when you get the hang of it. A combo is almost unstoppable, I've gotten combos where people fly. I just love it and I really hated that they added a new PVP system.

1.8 had the skill of click speed and 1.9 had the skill of timing. Hopefully 1.18's (i hope it comes out then) system actually gets the best of both and does well with it
