Hello, so after some time of other building stuff I've been doing, I decided to modify the version I did of that map. I guess this one gives it a cooler look and a medieval/modern too. This new version has inner islands with 2 generators per it and the middle, hard thing to think about what to put there haha. I went forward with the main name of it, the excalibur sword stucked in an ancient rock. The rock has 2 diamond generators at its top and 4 generators at its down (2 of gold and 2 of iron), also 2 more generators in the middle. I guess it respects the gameplay decently and gives it a nicer layout. Any ideas let me them in the comments below ;) Hope you like it!

I love this map but sadly I voted no for a few reasons. It doesn't feel like an egg wars map. It looks and feels more like a Sky Wars map more than anything. It just looks like a tryhard rush map where the half mid and mid are super easy to get to and the middle would be a great place to camp, especially on top. Also, the map's name just doesn't fit it really. I don't see anything Excalibur about it or anything that makes it so. (Unless you named it after yourself xD) Other things is that pallet for the map is a little bland with tons of Brown, Grey, and White. The leaves and flowers on the map don't exactly fit considering its winter and plant life should be non-existent. 4 diamond gens at middle is a bit much especially with 2 in camper positions. And the sword looks a little meh but an interesting feature for sure. I do however love the houses! They look fantastic! The details you put on the map are certainly interesting weather they fit or not.

Overall it's a very interesting map but it still needs a bit of work. If you want some tips or want to build sometime give me a shout. <3

But do you expect people to know what it is? It just looks like a normal sword. And even then it's really hard to even see the sword from a players perspective unless your right in front of it. I don't mind if it's named Excalibur but don't expect everyone to get it or understand.

i knew what the excalibur sword was when i was 5 - like most people lol. Its famous for being in the stone. Its rly easy to tell what it is just from seeing it

There are other maps with diamonds gens at top, also I made the rock not to be too high for camping stuff. The leaves represent an old rock that is why I added them. The name comes from the middle thing, there's literally a sword there. I made the map to be rushy as I know some friends who like rush maps, just fast gameplay and easy to get to mid and starter islands. Also I could remove 2 generstors from mid, that's the only think I see is nice.

Me no likey the mid. Not really different types of blocks, lack of creativity and just overall boring at the middle. It’ll also be a pain to climb it and defeat campers.

The sword is really cool, but I feel like there should be a greater presence of the theme “Excalibur”. Because it’s only shown at mid. The rest of the islands though... are too simple in my opinion.

Maybe you could include King Arthur’s round table somewhere? And maybe knight statues around the map or something. Make it look more magic and medieval, and then the name will be perfect.

I don’t like the stone though! It’s too tall and as mentioned above it might end up being problematic due to campers.

But I really like the theme you’ve chosen, if you manage to show it properly it would be a great map!

Yeah, maybe not everyone knows about Excalibur, but it's still a good and fitting name. What else is it supposed to be called? "Sword in stone" lmfao


About the map:
It looks really good. I don't play a lot of Eggwars so I don't know if this would be a good map for Eggwars, but it looks really good.
