Java OP Eggwars Kit

There was once a time where there was an Overpowered Eggwars kit in Duels (Sharpness II stone sword, 1 golden apple, 20 steak, 32 blocks, a pickaxe, and a set of protection leather armor). This was not a very good kit for Eggwars as it did not represent the true pvp of the game. As Eggwars is one of the most popular games on the server, I feel like there should be a kit that helps players practice for it.

What is propose is to to add a new kit. I would love to see a kit with a Sharpness II diamond sword, 2 sets of protection IV leather armor, 32/64 steak (amount doesn't matter much), 16 blocks (not needed, could be useful) and 16 golden apples.

This kit would allow people to practice their pvp in a style that is regularly used while playing a very popular game on the server today. With this kit, players could learn more about controlling armor switching and eating during pvp to improve their skills on a deeper level.

This is a video demonstrating how the kit works, and how it could help players practice. We use stone swords because the server we are playing on has 1.12/1.13 armor values, but CubeCraft has 1.8 armor values which makes them stronger. That is why I suggest using a diamond sword on CubeCraft, but that is not what is shown in the video.

I think this kit should be added back into the pool of kits available for duels. Since eggwars is one of the most popular games on the server, I think this kit could help people practice for pvp in real eggwars games. I personally played this kit a lot, and it helped me get better at armor switching and eating during pvp, so why shouldn't other people be able to do the same?

Yess, I really enjoyed this kit. Although I think the current kits were the most popular ones before The Big Change.
But one more kit couldn’t harm anyone.

Agreed! Thanks for the vote! Turns out I was wrong about the kit in question that you replied to in your comment, but I hope your vote still holds true as it is the same basis to help out players.

Yes to the old kit, but a no to your proposed idea, too many gapples will just prolong the fight. As for practice pvp styles, you could always just fight people in FFA.

Your comment is a perfect example of why the forums need a dislike button. The whole point of this kit is to practice fighting in EGGWARS, which is BASED AROUND long fights with sets of armor and golden apples. You can't practice a good pvp style with a 20 second fight in FFA. Nevertheless, thanks for the reply that basically shows that you didn't read my main point. ^_^

Well if you're that desperate for prolonging fights, there are plenty of kits that already offer this option. As for EGGWARS, you don't just need pvp skills you also need BRIDGING SKILLS

Yes of course.That kit will be very nice to get some pvp skills with it for new players,also it sounds very good for practising combos/crits so yeah I’m hoping that it will be added

The OP kit for practice would be a great idea.
Just dont forget that (maybe only in my games) the most kills are people who are shot/hit into the void, because there's this much protection and fights are long I usually prefer to just hit players into the void, makes the kill lots faster.

Then something like this should be involved in the practice also.
Any suggestions how to fix that? :oops:
It would be hard to create a 'Practice eggwars' gamemode right?


Stil my vote is 'yes' but this should be worked out very regardful.

I would love to see that the kit makes his return.
But I would lower the golden apples to 8 so you can still practise for longer fights, but it doesn't really takes too much time.

Tbh, if the practice includes a 'void' it would be usefull for Eggwars and Skywars right?
If you r near being hit from the map/Island you need to do something to save your life xD
This could include bridging, but i dont think there would be a 'brige practice' server since you can just create your own creative world and practice.
No need for that to be multiplier I guess...

What I meant is that there is no need for having a game-specific kit, if you're just going towards achieving pvp skills you can do that with any of the currently available kits. As for achieving skills in egg wars the only best solution for that is just to play egg wars over and over again until you get the hang of the game. Although egg wars don't really require many skills for it just breaking an egg and killing the players. Also to answer your previous question, it's kinda hard to read and answer your thread if you're changing it ever so often and not mentioning what was edited.
