Lets stop being like a average mini game server and actually make some games that fits in 1.9
For example, Blockwars
(1,9-based kit pvp can also work, tho)

Ya call this a suggestion? Explain!! why are we a mini games server? Why should blockwars be added? Pls elaborate
I did planned to make a lengthy suggestion post on a game idea but I decided not to waste my time because staff will not look at it anyways
Speaking of mini game servers, ccg is an example of such servers with skywars, egg/ bewars, pvp and such

The problem isn't the server, it is the game. Minecraft is a whimper of what it was five years ago, stagnant due to a void of new content. When was the last time the combat meta actually changed? We're still using diamond armour, diamond swords still have the highest DPS in the game, emeralds were the last ore introduced and they're redundant, and other than 1.13 (which CCG and most other servers have not adopted), the last actually significant update was 1.9 (almost three years ago!)

Much of the original audience is now in high school at the very least, and don't want to play the kid-friendly games they had half a decade ago. What doesn't help at all is that Minecraft (and by extension, CubeCraft), have an overly kid-friendly image; people see it as "the game that only children play". That brings us to Fortnite: It has over 175,000,000 active users. Really think about that number; almost two-hundred-million people played it in the last twelve months. How many people are playing Minecraft? Minecraft personalities aren't being flown to New York on New Year's Eve to embarrass two-million people; Minecraft isn't raking in billions of dollars in six months from sales; Minecraft isn't getting a constant stream of updates, being introduced to new platforms, or being talked about by anybody nowadays. The server was doing fine in the first half of 2018, and its numbers were still declining.

I think the best way to "save" CubeCraft now would be to pay big YouTubers to play here, simultaneous to a big revamp of the server (think the CCG 2.0 / 2.1 updates). I know it's dishonest to do this, but whatever the current strategy is, it's clearly not working and I don't think the management team are entirely to blame for this. A new hub and a few new games, as well as a rework of the extremely outdated currency systems we have, would give CCG a shiny new layer of paint for old fans who might have their interest peaked if they see big YouTubers playing on it. FFA should also be shot with some disinfectant and shoe polish, Tower Defence should be given a new tower placement system so the skill gap isn't larger than the Grand Canyon, and MinerWare should have its bugs patched out.

If Bedrock Edition can give its ranks timed exclusivity then Java Edition should too. We should get actual content for our ranks, not just a vanity helmet that nobody is even going to see because they've all got players disabled.

No single gamemode is going to bring all the players back, because it isn't CubeCraft they're disinterested in; it's Minecraft. We need a big overhaul of the stale CubeCraft we've had since 2016, and we need big YouTubers to broadcast this to the people that have already jumped ship.

(1,9-based kit pvp can also work, tho)
We already have that. It's called Free for All, and it's a wasteland of toxic tryhards who will REEEE if you attack them without asking permission, or if you kill them with the wrong kit.

I agree that YouTuber's can change a lot... actually there used to be a very famous dutch YouTuber playing Cubecraft called EnzoKnol
he certainly made a big contribution to the number of Dutch player on the server (and that's a big part of the server). However, he's gone and since no one pays attention to the Cubecraft videos on Youtube(except for the people who already play) I think there is not very much to save.

The real problem I have about FFA is the gear level, killing people is already very slow after 1.9 so its quite disturbing that ppl runs around with shiny dia armour (which is why i like normal and elytra ffa)
Also, due the the fact that ffa is quite popular, making a expanded version of ffa might work :3

although elytra ffa is broken for a small part due random laggback when trying to glide on the ground.

I think what they need to do is take the money they've made from Pocket Edition and invest some of it on improving the games they currently have in the java network. They should implement all of those suggestions who have been asked for long time by the community and have repeatedly been suggested. If they please the community, at least the players who used to play in the server regularly would come back. And those are the ones of a higher chance to buy ranks and other things in the store.
Desperate times require desperate measures, invest development money on the Plus and Obsidian rank, make them irresistible. That'll produce some money.

For a business, it's best to invest your money into the most profitable investment. I think investing in Bedrock edition is more profitable for Cubecraft, considering that you need a VIP rank or something for certain games. Also, Minecraft Java edition is losing players in general and I heard Cubecraft Bedrock has more players than Java on average (not sure if this is correct though).

because they've all got players disabled.
This is a 1.13 problem, what happend with this version the generation is horrible and the ligth glitches are the double and we has more lag in servers.
Play in 1.12 probably can fix the lag problem

I think the same.
Cubecraft need colour!!
About the games, cubecraft need new original games, and if it has low players try to upgrade them and not remove them, for example, the past year was relased battle zone, cool game but..... is a bad copy of fortnite and fortnite is free :/ why all the updates if you removed them? It was a bad idea from the sec1 and TNT trouble was a amazing and original game and it only recibe 1 update before be deleted.
And cubecraft need lvl rewards pls, and no point and experience, cool rewards like cubelets, boosters, points, vanity items.....
Not only points plz
