I saw someone asking a similar question in the profile posts a bit back, and Fesa said “Any items purchased/gifted before the changes remain the same as they have been.” This is consistent with my experience having the lucky islands rank (I’m still super thankful about that, you’re the best) where I can currently use map selection for lucky islands, but not POF. I'm not sure whether Cube plans on extending these privileges to work as new content is added, such as map selection for new maps or voting permissions when new voting options eventually/hypothetically release.

No. Your ranks will not be removed/taken away.
Leave the permanent ranks on purchase!!! You destroy your server for more money, it's lame
They should keep perm ranks. You could put subscriptions as a lower price so you could test whether you like the rank or not
This is one of, if not the worst update cubecraft has ever dropped and im surprised people arnt as mad about it as I am. If cubecraft removed permanent ranks from people who already got it, I would quit the game ngl and I got over 1k hours on cubecraft alone and play daily. I think its total bs what cc is now saying, that we own nothing with these new subscriptions. People already have enough to pay for, so why is cc milking its fan base for everything they got. I love this sever a ton, but this update is just not it. The gold subscription im fine with, what im not fine with is requiring a subscription for every gamemode. Im also fine with needing to have a subscription for private games, like that seems fair, just like roblox, u need to pay for that. I understand cc needs money, but it shouldn't be by giving everyone who supported them a giant middle finger and making us fork up money every month. And if anyone is saying "you dont need a rank", yes you do, at least let ffa have permanent ranks cuz its literally impossible to fight wars without one and this is just gonna kill ffa. Im not a new player, so this doesn't affect me, but this lets way less new people join the ffa ecosystem and is gonna kill cc for new players. I want this server to grow, not die, cuz i enjoy playing it and its fun. If cc needs money so badly, do other things, like make people need a subscription to play beta games, and that actually makes sense, because they beta. This would also make cc want to create new fresh gamemodes so people get the rank. I see this option as a win win, for both the sever and the player base, without the player base getting milked for every cent they worth.
Okay I am actually genuinely surprised at the amount of backlash...these forums are supposed to be full of bots, glad the players are waking up
So what’s next—subscriptions for everything? 310 Minecoins a month for a bundle, 160 for RGB trainers, …?

At this rate, Cube is gonna ask Minecraft to make a subscription for players to play Cube
This server has officially turned into a pile of bull****.
First, the endless releases of bundles and in-game cosmetics with a noticeable lack of updates, then a clear downgrade of game icons, UIs and game lobbies. Years went by and CubeCraft Bedrock is still barely distinguishable from its Java predecessor. Just embarrassing.

This whole update is just a massive middle finger to everyone long time player especially Vip lvl 30s. Cubecraft unfortunately is following the greedy trend of most corporations by adding subscriptions and no longer allowing ownership. Cubecradt knows they’ll make more money through subscriptions than ownership. Anyone who supports this new update is stupid because it only made it easier for Cubecraft to funnel money your money into their pockets.
Vip Lvl 30 used to have unique features like flight. Many people got vip 30 for the ability to fly and prestige. Imagine how most Vip 30s felt when all of a sudden any random person could fly by just getting one bundle. This one bundle kinda made Vip 30 useless because the main draw of vip 30 was flight. Like no one is getting vip 30 for 20 party slots which you’ll never use or 300 friend slots which you also probably will never fill. They’re getting it for prestige and flight. Now with this update, Vip 30s don’t even get private games. It’s almost like cubecraft forgot about their existence. Cubecraft quite literally used us up and threw us away when they no longer needed us. Cubecraft wants to make Vip 30 redundant because that get more money by selling subscriptions to newer players.
Subscriptions suck. Ownership is always more valuable than a subscription. Getting a subscription for a rank for only 1 year cost more I believe than what it used to cost to outright own the rank. Now remember that people will be paying for this subscription for years and now cubecraft us making so much more money off of a subscription rather than selling ten dollar ranks.
Additionally, the new portals look ugly. Please return the Eggwars lobby into what it used to be. Now it’s just a capitalist wet dream with so many cosmetics. The lobby isn’t designed with players in mind, but instead is designed with cosmetics in mind.
TLDR Cubecraft are a bunch of greedy capitalists who want to suck money out of new players, and they ditched oldest players because they are pf no use to them eh m anymore in their eyes. I know cubecraft won’t change anything. Heck! They didn’t even publish this announcement until a day after the changes were made, so people were in the dark about this changes.

Yep I can already see how this is going to impact legacy rankholders, I have EggWars rank with map selection now, but I wouldn't be surprised if any new maps that they added wouldn't be accesible to me, the fact that Pillars and Disasters are part of other ranks but need the new subscriptions is very over the top, it was a direct decision and action by a dev that made it cost extra, it's very unnessecary. I can see how with the Priv. games and everything how they're like "You have this with your legacy rank but you could have more with a subscription." It's also very convienient that the switch isn't actually mentioned anywhere. :/
