I think this is a pretty cool idea, and could do very well in PvP game modes where it is a big focus of the game to get kills, like Survival Games, Skywars or Eggwars. Bonus points are always fun to get and can be very beneficial, just to add another way to earn them. I don't really see a downside other than an overload in points sometimes, so a fix would be to not get an awful lot of bonus points per kill. Depending on the game, someone could get 5-10 bonus points, really.
