Bedrock Beta Games why on earth is buy n build gone

this is complete nonsense i thought it was a popular game, from the moment it released on beta me and my friends would constantly play it, it was so fun and it was a complete left turn compared to other games that have been gradually released on beta games. the game consistently had 500+ players and queue times were never long. the concept of having coins to run around a mall to buy blocks in stores was really fresh and unique and something that set it apart from any run of the mill build battle gamemode.

since you were on a time constraint, it also made it feel like you're in one of those cooking reality shows for example where you have 2 minutes to grab as much ingredients as possible before time runs out. by making mall accessible at all times, and removing coins, AND making it a fly area, it removes any element of thrill whatsoever and also screws over that concept heavily...

playercounts tanked after this unpopular update and cubecraft decides to scrap it altogether. this is really disappointing, the game was only losing popularity due to their own unpopular changes and not because of any other major factors. its totally baseless and unprecedented to remove the game because of this and its honestly heartbreaking to see a game with so much potential and a game that promoted so much creativity and ingenuity throughout the server get deleted because admins made a poor choice (shocking.) I for one, as a beginner builder, got a lot of inspiration from veteran builders playing the mode.

It was because nobody really played it and it was not worth keeping

It had a low player count and was vaulted for it. Cubecraft's community is not used to building game-modes, it was foreign to most people and therefore they didn't even give it much of a chance. It was hated on by anyone who didn't like building which was the majority.
I hope to see another build game in the future; it's a shame it's gone since they finally were addressing a giant part of the Minecraft community that they never had before. Building is such a huge part of Minecraft, and it's incredibly under-used in servers.
They've got parkour, PVP of all kinds, games like Minerware that are diverse and unique that allow most players to find something they are good at. All they are doing by removing this is limiting the growth of their own community, it is what it is.
