Didn’t think this was a big enough deal to mark as support. But anyone know the reasoning behind this? Some people play with chat off so this could inconvenience them.

Heyy! This is a known bug and we are working on a fix!
This has been fixed now! In the future, please use the Report a Bedrock Player or Bug section to report Bedrock bugs
