1.9 since I suck at spamming and I don't like 1.8 cuz it gives to much knock back and damage and need no skills

I personally think 1.8 requires more skill. But 1.9 Pvp is way more fun :p. I vote 1.9.

The 1.8 knockback is crazy... So I prefer 1.9. Also, it is a little more strategical than a spray-and-pray tactic...

I think that they're both fine.
I prefer 1.9 myself since I then actually have a bigger chance of winning a 5v1 while outgeared. Strategy is the best PVP version
I used to be pretty good at 1.8 but my body belongs to 1.9 now since it makes fights a bit more tactical
