Yeah, 1.9 I think is better. I like strafing between hit and more weapon choices. I am also really bad at 1.8, and it does crazy damage.

Skill #2: Strafing. Strafing is also a skill in 1.9

Survival Test 0.24 was IMHO the best MC version
You could just fire arrows from your hand like a machine and they just popped outta nowhere
No need for all of those dispenser, bows, and skeleton mishmashes
Good ol' arrow from the palm of the hand was the best!
