Tower Defense - Game Lag in later rounds

Because I know horde can do it I picked lightning and there were very little giants this round too mainly blazes and other flying mobs.

That makes sense. Unfortunately, I also experienced it with the wither. I guess I was lucky for the first few times, and I also experienced it with other mobs, not just giants. Normal income seems to have less lag than double income at the moment for me. Hopefully this issue is already being worked on, but it definitely needs a solution, as it makes it a less enjoyable experience for many players.

Yesterday I experienced the same lag spike for next to nothing (maybe 2 waves of blazes on each side due to horde). I'm not entirely sure why giants seem to trigger it most, and yet not always...
