Unable to shop at the villager is an already known 1.8 client bug, unless you have a rank you cant vote
I think he means that in the last 5 seconds before the game starts you cant change your vote anymore.
yes. But now you can but in the last 5 seconds voting is disabled brcause of trollers. They at first selected hardcore so people selected a hardcore useful kit( like egg armor) and he choose a kit good for op (like money bags) and in the last second he then changed to op so only he had the kit advantage.(it was like that in skywars but eggwars with changeable votes would face the same problems).
Yeah, I'm not really sure about what this thread is all about. However, if this is what you mean, I don't see the problem with the new update.

Use optifine, turn the chunks lower.

1. there was a change in voting where you cannot vote for anything if there is 5 seconds or less until the game starts.
2. a limit was put on the kits so they couldn't be farmed as easily.
3. after the update, there was a bug where the shop wasn't working correctly that has since been resolved.
In the future, please elaborate more on why you think an update is bad. Only saying "new eggwars is bad" gives us nothing to go on and doesn't point us in the right direction to make the game better.
