Bedrock Subscribtion for Disasters

Why do I need to have the suvival games subscribtion to chose maps in Disasters even though i have the suvival games rank? Is this a bug because the gamemode is just out of beta?

Intended. Old permanent rank holders will still keep the perks and cosmetics they had when they bought the rank and newer features will require you to have the subscription version, like private games on that gamemode, map selection on disasters and other future perks and cosmetics that will be added - if there's going to be any.
