Stream Support

Hey, I recently received my chromecast in the post today (it was on offer for £20), and i've started using it on my tv. I was watching some twitch streams and it was all working fine. I tried to watch the CCGN stream from last night, but it said "sorry this stream is not supported by chromecast".

Could anyone tell me if they are having the same issue? How they fixed it?

If you can't fix it, could the stream team look into finding out how to make it so people with chromecast can watch the stream on their TV from the twitch app.

I am pretty sure that if u stream it using the chrome add on, it would work. But I don't always have my pc on, and it'd be great to stream it directly from the app!

Don't have a chromecast myself, so i'm not 100% sure.

If the stream isn't partnered and their stream quality isn't "Excellent" then that could happen.

I just added an update to the thread, Teaguns Stream is not partnered and his works on my chromecast ; So it must be the quality of the CCGN stream.

In the link u sent me it says all the requirements, maybe the CCGN team could match up their settings so people can stream with chromecast.

If the stream isn't partnered and their stream quality isn't "Excellent" then that could happen.

Anyways, hopefully someone from the CC "stream team" can take a look at this and fix this problem for the chromecast users :)

On my PC and any other device there is no problems. With my Chromecast it won't let me watch the ccgn stream, all the rest work perfectly
