Speed 2 effect in lobbies

Not pre-game lobbies, just server-selection lobbies.
This would shorten the time between entering the lobby and going into a match.
I can't really see any downside to this.

I think that speed can be annoying sometimes. Besides, if you have an emerald or obsidian rank, you can use /fly. It's like having speed, because you can move faster when you fly.

When you start the parkour, the speed is removed.

Speed 2 in lobby's would not be necessary, it takes literally 15 seconds to you to get to the map selector and choose a map. And faster with emerald-obsidian ranks. And I don't get the point of adding it.

That's still a quarter of a minute wasted on getting there. If you play 4 games, you would waste a full minute. If we can skip 5 seconds with the speed effect every time, we could play 6 games but waste the same amount of time on the lobby.
(It's kind of a straw man argument, I know.)

Why would they add it? Isn't speed 2 completely useless?
You already have a /fly feature if you got an emerald rank or above.

with this sort good idea's.. you have the problem that almost all the forum people have a high rank. or say or only for my rank or above...

No, I think (and it will) make parkour in the main lobbies way too easy! Unless of course
1. Speed is disabled when doing parkour
or
2. make the parkour bigger and more compatible for speed II (2)

I think this is okay but it must be optional
So the people that want it can turn it on and same for the people that dont want it
Me personally I have an emerald rank and sometimes flying is to fast for me

it isnt a bad idea. but it also is not necessary. 15seconds isnt much time and 5seconds off, i do always say heaps of small things add to a big thing overtime but this still has no point or no real need

Not everyone wants to spend 100$ (don't know how that translates to £) on a rank that let's you fly. Paying money is never a valid excuse to not add something. There is no reason not to add this if it is togglable (ITS A WORD) and turns off on parkour.

I agree with @iCheeetah, it's a few seconds and you can choose a map. It's not necessary.

I think our current system of launching the player forward when they spawn is just as good for shortening travel times as speed II, and is more fun.
