Builds [SOLO EGGWARS] Excalibur

-Description: Hello, this is one of my best maps I've done in minecraft for Solo Eggwars. The map is based in medieval earth, more concretely in King Arthur time. The map has 8 islands and 3 generators per it. The mid has a King Arthur organic that has a diamond generator on the top of its crown (already removed because it could cause camping ^^).On that new version of the map, the islands including the mid look more much clean and ready for PVP. The mid has in total about 3 diamond generators (the one from the top head has been moved to one of Arthur's boots), 2 or 3 gold generators and 3 iron ones. Also on the new version blocks are changed to 1.8+ since the network does not support 1.12+blocks, for example concrete has been changed to terracota :). Hope you like this new version of the map :p

Looks beautiful, though if this were ever to be implemented: PLEASE REMOVE THE SNOW LAYERS!!! They are such a pain, just look at Storm

It also has a helmet under his legs which has an iron generator (even the helmet is not on this photos because are from the old updated version of the map, is in the newer version). The mid has in total about 3 diamond generators, 2 or 3 gold generators and 3 iron ones.

Looks terrific! Defiantly want to play on this map! :)

In it's current state, I would not like it added. A small revamp would make it work perfectly.

General issues:
The glazed terracotta (and concrete? - not totally sure if they are a part of the snow texture on the island) is only avalible in 1.12+, which doesn't make it possible to play on lower versions. - Solution woul be to change them out for blocks avalible from 1.8+ preferably.
Need to add team colour under neath the island, like in other eggwars maps to indicate what team colour the island has.

Personal issues:
The current snow layers on the islands looks like they will be messing with most player's pvp styles and generally be annoying. - Would like it smoothed out a bit more.
The diamond generator on the top of King Author's head might cause camping which would be frustrating. - Would rather remove it.

I like the layout and the design over all though. :)

It is for solo eggwars not team and it has already its own color in the egg. The blocks are all changed to 1.8+ on the new version of the map. Diamond gen at top of crown is being dealt with and snow layers are all removed.

So I heard you really wanted feedback on your map, that's a good thing. So I'll just give my personal feedback:

The starter islands:
The aesthetics of the island aren't bad, however they're not special either. It's a basic looking house, a campfire, logs and path. There is nothing special and in my opinion, below the level of the builds on other Cubecraft maps. Besides, the island is in no way connected to the theme of the map (Excalibur). These are just wooden snow houses and I can't see any links with King Arthur / Excalibur.
For the gameplay, there is nothing interesting in my opinion, the island is flat for PvP, the egg is just there and that's it.

The middle island:
As for the looks, King Arthur looks cool and I like the little snowflakes in the sky. There however aren't any snowflakes above the starter islands, which doesn't make sense. Also, I don't like the scale, the King Arthur is a lot bigger than the houses. This even more implies that the islands don't match the middle.
As for the gameplay, it's once again just a flat island for PvP.

I think this map in general will be boring to play, there is nothing to make the gameplay / map unique or interesting. The theme and map are inconsistent. The aesthetics are good, but not on the level of the other Cubecraft maps.

I hope this clarifies for you why people voted no, as you were wondering.
