Hello, while i was playing skywars and i was swearing to someone, then i got muted. For the second time. I made an appeal but it was denied. This is the second time i got muted and if i read the rules it says that you start with a warning, and then get a 3 day mute. And the first time i got a mute was a 30 day one, now i have a permanent mute. 30 day mute - Perm mute is for threats. And the first time i did it was just swearing. And i don't really know if the second time was swearing or treats. But if the first time was just swearing, the maximum punishment I shouldve got for the second time is a 30 day mute. But i have perm now.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you guys do something about it (:
PS: Sorry for my bad English

Both the reports against you are for targeted chat offences. The reason for this is that the swearing punishment is intended for players who swear in chat, but don't maliciously direct it at an individual. However, both times you attacked the player in chat, and it doesn't matter if you swore or not - the biggest offence here is the targeted chat offence so that is the punishment you receive.

If you have any other concerns please start a private conversation with @Cynabooo or @Boooddy, as they are the moderators who handled the reports against you.

Yeah, but one was swearing and one time I said someone to do something in real life, and saying someone doing something in real life is 1st time 30 day mute, 2nd time perm mute. And swearing is Warning, 3 day mute, 7 day mute, 30 day mute, perm mute. And my first mute should have been a warning cause i didnt told someone to do something in real life, the second time i did. So what I should have got is 1st time warning 2nd time 30 day mute. And i got 30 day mute, perm mute. Do you get my point? Thanks for the reply!

I understand you didn't tell someone to do something in real life in the first offence.
I also understand that there are other ways to get muted for targeted chat offences, like calling players offensive names / words, as you did the first time.

Please start a private conversation with @Cynabooo or @Boooddy here to gain a clearer understanding of why what you said is classed as a targeted chat offence, and possibly get another chance for an appeal. This is not the correct place for discussion about bans, so I have requested a moderator lock this thread.

To shed some clarity on the case; our rules and punishments were completely overhauled on the twentieth of October. It included some changes concerning the types and punishments of swearing. We used to draw a line between regular inappropriate talk, and direct, verbal attacks toward other users, however now, every sort of inappropriate chat is considered swearing, unless it is a real life threat.

Swearing: warning, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, permanent
Targeting: 1 month, permanent

Swearing + Targeting = permanent
Swearing: (warning), 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, permanent
Threatening: 1 month, permanent

Swearing and threatening do not stack up.

Both your punishments followed our old system, which means any mute combined with a targeting mute would be permanent.
If you haven't done so already, please contact @Cynabooo as he is responsible for your active mute.
