In my opinion reports are not treated for too long because sometimes it takes hours for the report to be "Handled".
During this time, the "hacker" could have spoiled the fun of many more players.

I wish that I can contact a team member immediately.

Staff members are not always available, however, they handle the reports as soon as possible. They installed an anti-cheat system (that could obviously be improved) to help deal with cheaters and ban people when they're unavailable.
