This is important to the current standard of PvP. Mods, Admins, Helpers and most importantly, regular players, please just have a read. TL;DR at the end.

Currently in CubeCraft PvP, specifically FFA, there is an option to purchase items with the points you've attained through playing various other minigames such as eggwars, skywars and even the PVP gamemodes, such as Duels. However, this shopping system is currently far too overpowered. There is a vast majority of people who shop that either spawn as the Samurai kit, with full protection 3 armour and a sharpness 3 sword, or as a wizard with the same as mentioned above. This breaks the game, especially the wizard one. I'm going to explain why in my point of view, then continue with further requests/suggestions about further development of this feature.

Samurai
This kit, as an innate ability gives the user a permanent speed 2 buff where they can be faster than anyone else using other kits, except wizard. The main downside to this kit is the armour since it includes no leggings and only a leather helmet, followed by diamond boots and a diamond chest plate. It also includes a knockback 1 and a sharpness 1 sword. However, with shopping, all of these downsides are completely mute because of the fact that they would have full protection 3 armour, and a sharpness 3 sword (unless they choose to keep the former). The main issue is that they still keep the speed, meaning they can zoom around and easily combo players, even those that are very very skilled, and even if they get low on health, they can run away and the person chasing you won't be able to keep up. This main trait causes an absolute cascade of toxicity because following this running, people make teams in order to attack you, spawn camp you if you should die in the same game, and call you "shopper", "runner" and "trash" in the chat.

Wizard
This kit is actually even more problematic than Samurai. This kit includes a full kit of protection 3 leather armour and an iron sword with sharpness 1. However, this kit also comes with potions that you can use. These potions include:
- 2 Regeneration 1 potions (last for 1:30)
- 3 Speed 2 potions (last for 30 seconds)
- 2 Splash potions of instant healing
- 3 Splash potions of instant damage
- 1 Splash potion of poison 2 (lasts 6 seconds max)
- 1 Strength potion (lasts for 3 minutes)
Not only does this kit have the exact same issue as Samurai due to the speed potions, but it causes even more issues to regular players. Ever since the Wizard kit was buffed so that you get one random potion per kill, and there is no cap on how many potions you can receive, so someone with full protection 3 diamond armour, a sharpness 3 sword, speed 2 potions, strength and instant harming and healing? They are almost unkillable. It takes big teams and big groups of wizards and maybe 10 to 15 minutes of chasing to actually defeat and kill them. If that time is not put into defeating them, they can essentially do whatever they wish since they are unkillable. Not to mention that is only if you buy armour, you can also buy normal golden AND Notch apples from the shop. Granted, they are quite expensive but still buyable.


Suggestions
There are a few different ways to go about this, one of them being an obvious contender.
  1. Get rid of shopping. This will make a fair balanced game where anyone can choose the kits they want for free without being worried about people having more overpowered stuff than them as a first-time experience.
  2. Make it so that if you buy armour from the shop, you can not spawn in with another kits perks. That will be a much fairer fight for everyone playing
  3. Nerf the stuff you can buy from the shop, essentially no protection 3 armour and no notch apples or sharpness 3 sword. This is way too broken for kits with speed
  4. Up the number of points, you need to buy items. Points for items can be gained from winning as little as 10 Duels from the other pvp game modes or a couple of games of eggwars, they are not hard to collect.
Summary/TL;DR
Shopping should be gotten rid of or nerfed because of kits like Samurai and Wizard's perks being abused by people with full diamond protection 3 armour, Sharpness 3 swords and Notch Apples. It makes it unfair to other players and just purely promotes toxicity. It doesn't even earn CubeCraft any money because you can't buy points with real money so it makes no sense to keep this feature.

I agree.
Perhaps if a player buys an item from /shop, then alchemists will be unable to gain a random potion from each kill, or something similar for the samurai kit
