Are the stone ax that gives 9 damage stronger than diamond sword that gives 7 damages

I actually don't know, because a sword "reloads" faster then an axe.

I think it is a matter of persona opinion. If you can strafe and dodge while the axe reloads, then you might want the axe. If you do this then it will probably be hit for hit at least. You will win a hit for hit with an axe.

I don't know. My fiend who is pretty good at pvp uses a sword. I use an axe. It's up to you.

A Stone Axe (9 attack damage) gives more attack damage then a Diamond Sword (7 attack damage).
What I do in a game such as Eggwars, I buy a Sword and an Axe. Normally I always fight with a sword, but when the player runs away, I fight with an axe.
That's my tactic :D
