PVP in 1.8

Hi, how are you guys doing? I have a question, why the 1.8 does not have pvp? I think it would bring a lot more people to the server.

There is ffa in 1.8, but as there are less 1.8 players than 1.9 players, and not many players even play duels or assassination even in 1.9, it's unlikely they will come to 1.8. Though I really would like assassination in 1.8.

Yes, that is true. But I think adding it would bring a lot more players, there is a lot of people playing in the 1.8 that likes duels a lot.
