Hello :)

When I create a poll and select: 'Display votes publicly', where can I see that as owner of the thread?

If you want to edit your poll to "display votes publicy": You can't.
If you want to see the people who votes: Select the vote option!

Well my poll in my suggestion thread was 'Display votes publicly' from the start, where can I see who voted?

If you have selected 'Display votes publicly', everyone can see who voted; it's not just the owner.

First, vote on the poll or click on 'View Results':

Then, click the text where it says the number of votes:

Then this interface appears detailing who voted for that option:
