Placing towers

Many new players place towers that doesn't even fit.
A lot take a 3x3 tower and put it in a way that it takes 6x6 not allowing other players to build in that spot.
Can you do that it will auto go to the nearest place with a 3x3 and build that tower?

This has been suggested a lot, I agree with it, but what about the 5x5 towers? They’re still a thing right?
