My friend and I have been playing pillars of fortune of over a year now and we are always finding the maps really old and boring and we frequently brainstorm map ideas that would be really fun to add to the game. So here are some of them:
- A map with ice pillars and they can be broken to make water, with elder guardians in water at the bottom.
- TNT Pillars
- Snow pillars and if you get shovel, you can throw loads of snow balls
- Short Pillars with a normal floor to encourage pve against the whole game with their random starting items
- Pillars spawn in different formations instead of just the regular circle (eg. plus, line, different heights) just making more luck involved.
- A map that has a chest in the middle with good loot in it (eg. weapons, breeze rod, god apple, mace etc.)
- Ancient city at the bottom with wardens.
- Pillars made of watermelon and there are endermen all around the bottom and you have a higher chance of receiving cooked chicken.
