not able to see chats

i play on bedrock and i normally always go on cubecraft. i just recently realized that i'm not able to see any of the chats. i looked at my profile to see if maybe i had them off, but they're on. i've had this problem since i started playing, but i just thought no one was talking. i changed to pc a few weeks ago and the problem is still going on, so i'm pretty sure it's just my account. is there anyway to fix this?

Yes, someone made a thread about it somewhere. It has something to do with xbox live or something. Idk where the thread is but they should put this in an FAQ

I think they mean that they are either shadow muted or their privacy settings need to be changed. I don’t have the correct experience so you’ll have to wait for someone.

If others can’t see your messages and you haven’t been muted, you may have a ghost mute. Keep in mind that it may be your privacy settings. (You can follow the thread at the bottom to help with the Microsoft settings.)
