Saw this on the switch version of Minecraft, went into cube, and found nothing in the beta games lobby...is this the thing had to do with aliens that was teased earlier this year?

It's intentional. I believe it's already out on Java and should be released on bedrock soon-ish!!

Edit: It's out on Bedrock too!
