It has been 6 months and it seems no progress has been made when it comes to anticheat, the worst part is now hackers have alot more powerful hacks that are completely unstoppable. Insane speed, teleport hackers, cross the map killaura, even hackers that are able to spawn in illegal items like 32k swords and barrier blocks and yet nothing has been done about it, Horion have recently allowed their 1.16 hacked client to be downloaded for free and because of this the server is starting to become unplayable, before we were able to deal with some of these hackers but it is no longer possible as hacks have advanced.

There is no IP ban system and despite what i've been told by devs, plenty of people i know have just made alt accounts as soon as they are banned, there are people with about 20 different alts all being banned and still allowed to come on the server, and no these people have never used a VPN. There isn't any point in banning any hackers as all it is doing is wasting 5 minutes of their time making a new account to hack on more. Cubecraft solely relies on player reports to cope right now and these people will catch on and stop, this matter i would say is far more urgent than an anticheat, implementing an IP ban system

As the new wave of helpers have arrived I am very concerned at the amount of bedrock helpers you have compared to java, I have only noticed that 1 of the helpers you have hired are active on bedrock (I have not noticed any others so i may be wrong) compared to the whole wave of helpers that have been hired and it is very concerning considering you wanted to hire at least 100 bedrock staff by the end of the year and have only managed to hire about 5 in 6 months.

As for server updates, I am so glad bedrock is receiving alot of positive updates and new gamemodes that have really helped the server become more interesting, there has been no neglect there and I and the rest of the community are very grateful, please however know that the concerns I have highlighted above are getting alot worse and alot harder to deal with.

Paragraph 1) A while back multiple developers were hired to handle the anti-cheat and bedrock specifically, the anti-cheat is constantly being worked on and improved on bedrock and java. I am on bedrock often and while I haven't encountered too many hackers I understand your frustration.

Paragraph 2) The issue with IP bans is that other family members might be playing on the server, bedrock was and still is targeted at a slightly younger audience, so IP banning someone, to have potentially other siblings be effected for there bad choices wouldn't be fair, but I still understand your frustration with this, I do hope they find a good solution soon.

Paragraph 3) Bedrock does have a small moderation team yes, at least 7+ mods or helpers I have seen on there, now it's not like Cube is intentionally not hiring bedrock staff, as they have been doing so when they can, it depends on who applies, and if they meet the standards. Hopefully more are hired but for now, this is what we have. Also, they never said they would hire 100 bedrock staff, they said 100 staff by the end of the year.

Thank you for this :) just a couple of things tho:

I did say in my paragraph that their intention was to hire 100 by the end of the year, my point was it is a very large amount of people and since there are less than 10 bedrock staff right now in 6 months it doesn't seem likely they will reach the target

As for the IP ban, I do feel your situation would only really happen with a very small audience of people, as someone that has a total of 10 siblings living with them we all shared the same account and it would probably be the same for most, I feel that situation is 100% worth sacrificing for the sake of stopping players from quitting due to hackers which in my time on the server have seen alot of people do so.

Hi,
I disagree with the fact that there are a lot more hackers with advanced hacks. When I first joined bedrock 6 months ago every game I joined I saw at least 1 hacker and the lobbies were filled. But for the last 2 weeks, I've only seen maybe 5 hackers tops. The Anti-cheat developers are doing good work considering I've had some days without seeing any hacker. But the last few days I've seen a lot more hacker maybe 2-7 a day. I think they are upgrading the anti-cheat to cope with the new and improved hack clients like Horion. I can agree with you on the helper side of thing.
There are way too little helpers constantly on the bedrock server.

The reason for the huge decrease in hackers was due to the 1.16 update which rendered alot of clients useless, horion did offer a client but you had to pay about $5 for it, however as of a few days ago, it has now become free to purchase meaning we are back to the same situation as before with hackers except now they have far worse hacks than they did 6 months ago, which the most hackers could realistically get was fly, killaura and reach.
This was nothing to do with any intervention from staff unfortunately
