Java mute reports expirements

i think its a very good idea to just remove your mute-reports after its been a year, or 6/7 months. in that time, you may have matured and grown, so you know what to say and not to say. it seems kind of unfair to me if you accidentally get reported for something you didnt know you were able to get muted for, and be permanently muted because you’ve already been muted 3 times in the past, even though that was a long, long time ago

Sometimes there are slight possibilities for a person that's been permanently muted or banned to be able to have another chance after a good amount of time after the punishment is first issued. I know a good portion, if not all, of the staff will at least hear you out and possibly give you another chance. But, we won't be automatically removing them, because there are people out there who say the nastiest things and don't care about getting a punishment. All you have to do is contact the staff that issued your punishment. In the case of that specific staff not being around anymore, you can contact the staff manager and he can look into it.

We tend to be more forgiving as time passes, if the appeal is denied then message the moderator that issued the punishment 6 months later, or every six months.
In your case, if what you said in chat was indeed not against the rules at the time of your last mute, I would be forgiving however if it was, I would assume you are lying therefore the mute stays.
