Multiple people working on a single thread

There should be a way to invite two or three people to work on a thread together . Why isnt there already?

Yeah, why not. I don't know why this can't be added or why this would hurt anything or anyone.

This post makes me want to revive my mini modding thread but it appears im a day too late . Ugh...

Id also like to add that any participant can publish the thread . A certain level if trust should be required . Just for the sake of conviniance.

Although it'd be useful in very few cases, I don't really think implementing this as a feature is worth their time.
Don't get me wrong: I'd love to see this implemented, but you may as well be better off just copying what you've written down so far to the one who's going to finalize the thread (add images, use formatting, etc.).
It's pretty rare to see people working together on threads, and usually it would end up being a bit all over the place since people tend to write differently compared to another.

Also: How would this feature exactly work? Would it be real-time editing between everyone? Who gets to publish it? Are they going to be able to change your writing? Who gets to publish the thread (was also mentioned by Fool above me)?

Anyone who worked on the thread can edit/publish the thread at any given time. Doesnt work real time , its usually for BIG threads . They do it whenever they are online.
You can also assign specific parts of the thread to be uneditable for anyone but you , and assign sections of work for people

Yeah, i dont want to use discord . Its easier to edit others' work and add to it on forums
