Awesome to hear you are liking it :P
But knowing only few map submissions made it in (except yours), I want to make it as best as I can.
So should I leave it like this or just edit a bit more?

Well you could concentrate certain block types in one area, so you get lighter and darker areas, if you know what I mean. This is very easy with GoPaint but I dont know if you have that option. You could also do it by hand but it looks fine this way too.
