Make another mode for Blockwars 1.8

I use to have so much fun on blockwars, then the combat update ruined it all because I don't like the new combat system. Can there be another mode for 1.8?

Could you suggest what kind of new mode might be added to a possible 1.8 Blockwars?

There were people who were requesting this game in 1.8 version too so if you give a good reason with details, maybe the Staff members will take it into consideration.

I dislike this suggestion. We should halt support to 1.8 because tye builders seem to think that the blocks must look the same cross versions.

I mean as in have one blockwars server for 1.9, and one for 1.8.
