We actually already did this for the new VIP Levels Update but as we explained in the thread-

older players will remember a long time ago we allowed you to display your very own skins on the leaderboard so everyone could see you. Unfortunately due to our immense growth our system could no longer do that. But not anymore!

You can now show off your skins once again on your profile image.
(this will roll out over the next few days.)
