Item placing bug?

Has anyone else noticed something like this happen?

I'm trying to build a spider spawner with fence gates placed in front of other fence gates but for some reason the server won't allow it and the items get put back into my hotbar when I right click after the attempted placement.

yes i have had it with sighns. it does sometimes work with sighns tho so i suggest you try that.

is because in that version, you need to put the fences on a block

In the same version it works fine outside of Cubecraft.
