Is there a way to turn off chat/kill feed?

I really don’t need to see chat during ffa so I was wondering if there was on option for it in either cubecraft or Minecraft settings?
The setting in the image below doesn’t do it bc I think that’s for something else. I want to be able to turn the kill feed off.

You can turn off the chat by pressing the gearwheel when you open the chat. With the option "Mute all chat" you can turn the chat on and off.

I think it does block everything including party chat, though I’m not entirely sure.
