Greetings. This is my first thread post here in the forum.
As the title said "Is it necessary to have water in your crops and what's the difference?"
I was wondering will the crops grow without water or will the farmlands break without water.
What's the difference between having and not having water in your crops?

It would be really helpful to know since I'm currently planning to grow 40-50 pumpkins as efficient as possible!

Farmland will turn back to dirt if there’s no crop on it (and no water). Other than that it wouldn’t break as long as a crop is planted on it, meaning you don’t need water for pumpkin or melons as there’ll always be a crop planted.

Thank you so much! Didn't expect a response within an hour, thought it would take a couple of days to get a response.
But thanks again!
