Java Pillars Of Fortune Is 20 players on one map too much?

To me 20 players on one map is bit too much. The game feels too crowded, especially if you spawn on one of the pillars located in the middle of everyone else. I think 12-16 players would be better since then pillars could be placed further away from each other, and this way it wouldn't be unfair to players who spawn in the middle. But what do you think?

(This isn't suggestion. I just want to hear what other Java players think about the new update.)

I actually quite like it, the game is much faster, and you really have to be aware from every direction. That's my opinion, I'd like to hear the others!

8 players was just fine. It gives you a bit of breathing room and time to strategize with your items before people mindlessly jump to your pillar, hit you off, and place a block under them in the first 2 seconds. I don't see the need to up it, even to 12 players.
