I joined Cubecraft after watching some videos of someone playing Pillars Of Fortune. Upon playing it, I quickly fell in love with it! Despite being a little luck dependent at times, (Which is the whole point of the gamemode, lol) it never felt unfair! The 8 player count meant it wasn't too difficult to track the other players, and all the pillars were spaced out so that you could have some time to prepare to fight each other. The gameplay was simple- Make plans of attack based on the items you received, and keep an eye on the 2 adjacent players to know if and when they'll attack you.
Today, I logged in for my 3rd day of POF, only to find myself completely surrounded by 19 other people that were closing in on me VERY quickly. I felt like I had no time to even analyze the items I was getting, much less make a plan with them as I watched someone else bridge towards me. It certainly didn't help that I also had to keep track of like 3 other people at the same time, further dividing my attention. I felt helpless and incredibly stressed and the game had only just begun.
I understand that some people might enjoy gameplay like this. But I HATE it, and simply can't play. Please make 8 player mode an option at the very least.
