Instant messaging

I don't like the current messaging system It is like an email.Its good for when people are offline but conversating when they are online is extremely difficult since you have to refresh the page every once and a while when you are waiting for a response. I suggest they get an instant messaging system so you get the message immediately it would save the hassle of refreshing the page and make it more easy to communicate.

2. You can use desktop/email notification if someone replies to you. I don't see a problem refreshing.

I understand your concern, but once they see your PM, they can reply and you'll get the notification within seconds.

As far as I'm aware, doing this would slow the performance down, not sure though.

There's a reply button, I don't know who you're talking to if you don't reply/quote their text. (Go to their msg, on the bottom right of it, there'll be a reply button)
