i did go to contact settings and disables conversation - email something . Would that do the trick?

I dont want to get emails how do i disable this?

On the top right of the forum page hover over your name and click preferences.
Then navigate the sidebar and click 'Contact Details'
Navigate to 'Messaging Preferences' and untick the third box down.
When you receive the email below the email it does say that this is how you do it, if you've done this and are still receiving emails (do double check, though.) then contact a staff member.
