Let me remind you that Mac OSX runs over Unix, similar to Linux, so stability is great and power/control on the system side is much better then windows.

i use a mac. a very old one tho... maybe its just me, but i wish i had a windows desktop.

Well, if you use like the Apple 2 from the 1977 then yea, sure I agree its not that great, but otherwise, recent macs (+/- 3-4 years) are good machines.
