Java help ive lost the water wand

so I'm playing the new magic and mayhem mode and i get the fire wand but lose my water wand.is this normal or am i just missing my wand help

It isn't normal, it's a bug, you're missing your wand

That sounds like an impossible thing, since imo there is no way you can lose your starter wand. If so, have you tried relogging?
