Why aren't normal players able to choose a map in 1.8 mode?

I understand that Ranked players need to have more options at the Server, but why would you make 1.8 mode without being able to choose a map? You can choose a map at 1.10 right? So why not at 1.8 :(

Lets make Cubecraft edit this feature :D!

Not sure what gamemode you are talking about, but i guess its a feature of having a rank. :)

I do agree that it's kinda unfair when it comes to 1.8 maps.
All 1.9 maps can be picked by players (with no rank) on the shown signs. Why not do the same to 1.8 games :)

idk... When i play 1.8 games on games like skywars no1 joins... I'd like it when we all can play 1.8. :P
