I dont agree with this, member can simply ask a team member to close it, and there is always team online, I really dont see why it would matter who closes/locks it.

Why doesn't someone want other people comment on their thread and share their ideas? This idea seemed illogical to me, sorry. If a thread really needs to be locked, there is always a staff team to do it. People shouldn't be able to lock their own threads in my opinion.

Yo, maybe we have different opinion, but also thanks!!

Having different opinions with other people is a very good chance to discuss them and create new ideas I think :)

Not a bad idea. However, I think it's better to leave that up to the staff members. I don't really see the point in closing a thread so no one can reply to a suggestion, introduction etc.
