You may not spread fake news to get a player killed
Yet you are allowed to spread fake news to kill a player?

What do I mean
Well you can't do that but you can tell someone you won't shoot them off, you just want to have a fair PvP fight on an island
WHy is 1 mutable and the other not if they are both fake news that will end in PvP?

That's a good question I'd like to see answered as well. I am allowed to lie about what I am going to do. Am i allowed to lie about my location? Am I allowed to lie about not setting up a trap? How about lying about game mechanics (the faster you click the more damage you do, w-tapping increases your fps)?

All I can say, some staff don't even know the rules themself :)

But when I was a staff member, we couldn't really agree with new and old rules. We asked tons of times to get new rules, but someone was too lazy to do so.. :)

Orangeric88 says blowing them up is the same as selling them to Alt+F4 which would make their game close.

It wasn't the point of you blowing them up, it was that you told them they could get an achievement if they stepped on the pressure plate. If there wasn't an achievement that could possibly be gotten then I could see the warning being more fair. Though, it's not good to troll in chat, no matter the reason.

I believe some of the rules could be revised to give us a little more insight to what exactly something means. An example being the "camping" rule. Though, the staff would hope that the players would have enough common sense to figure out that if something isn't specifically listed in the rules, it could also not be allowed and the player could ask about it.

Rules don't mention anything to trick (enemy) players to blow themselfs fall in a trap created by another player. This isn't trolling neither, if the player is a bit smart, they will notice that that's a trap (pressure plate), unlikely telling them to ALT+F4 (not everyone knows about altf4, although traps in Minecraft are a very basic concept)
