Here is what I think is the ideal size for a pvp faction :

Max players : 15-30

Faction Power* per player : 20 (used to be 10)
(9 for the base, 1 for a tp spot)




*What is power ?
- In factions power represents the amount of land a player/faction can claim, when a player dies his power goes down thus also reducing the total faction power (the sum of the power of all its members) If a faction has more land than power they become overclaimable.

I think max should be 15 players.

Also the rankings should go:


Owner - All permision ( Only person to be able to promote people. )
Admin - Can break blocks, Can invite people, Can make tp's, can claim, can unclaim.
Mod - Can break blocks. Can invite people.
Member - No perm

Also how much power should be lost for a death in out of War-Zone?

Also how large will be world be.. 15000 by 15000??

This suggestion isn't about rankings...
To reply to your post :
Ranks should be:
Owner - co-owner - officer - member - recruit.
Where the owner decides on the perms of the different sub ranks in his faction like "/faction perm officer build NO/YES"
With "/fperm"
By default the recruit is the only one unable to break blocks.
What would be wrong with having a max at 5? Or 50? Why 15?

I believe a faction should only have 15 available slots. I think 30 would be way too large. I know you don't have to fill them all but i still think it's too much.

Also i agree with your rank system much better i was just getting your opinion.

Most servers cap the faction at a count where they have 300 power or they just cap the power with lots of possible
members. Some servers allow lots of players with no powercap but those servers use a buffer limit hich usually
means:"If you have more than 20
chunks of walls in each direction we will worldedit the overstanding out. On one server Like that i was able to get a regen wall out of the way. Also I am not a very good pvpler but in faction I won most fights.Let mejust say this. When you were in my base you couldnt trust any chest block button or anything in there xD I spammed everything with traps.

Well it depends on how good the team is at fighting together. It won't matter much that 15 people are fighting if some of them keep getting body blocked by teammates.(especially in 1.9). Also depends on the skills of the people,trapper,battle planner, base builder, good fighter etc. It won't do you much good bringing somebody who can't fight specially with 1.9.(might want to check everybody for that before you go into a fight)

So, buy n' build is gone? It was definitely one of my favourite games before the "update", and I understand that removing it seemed like a good decision, but it's still sad to see it just get removed instead of getting the old buy n build back. Hopefully this new game is good enough, I haven't tried it out yet.
