Though this does seem a bit far fetched and ambitious, it would be beneficial for when CubeCraft's population grows with the return of Minecraft's popularity; so please hear me out.
How an Eggwars tutorial would work would be to put the player on a demo solo map of 4 players and tells them what to do in order to win against tutorial bots.
Collect Loot (Gold & Iron)
-
Purchase Gear + Blocks.
-
Defend your Egg.
-
Rush to the middle of the map.
-
Defeat one of your opponents by breaking their egg then defeating them.
-
Spend your mid-loot on better gear.
-
Defeat the rest of the opponents.
-
Win the game.
Although this is a very basic tutorial, I've seen players who didn't even know what the shop was and kept killing themselves to get the Endstone kit blocks, so a tutorial would've been helpful for them. A video version of this tutorial would work but a first-hand tutorial will at least give the player experience to use when he/she is in an actual game with a cluster of both competitive and casual players.
To take the tutorial, when the player first tries out Eggwars there could be an option saying "Would you like a tutorial on how to play Eggwars?" because unlike Lucky Islands and Skywars, Eggwars requires much more strategy rather than pure dexterity.
I can see why people would disagree with this due to the immense work-load it can addon to the developers, along with a few other issues, so please leave feedback in the description so my future posts are better written.
