Cocoa bean glitch

So my cocoa beans are not working, I guess you could say. Whenever i right click to place them, they don't place and I have to left click the wood before I can place the bean. Its annoying when I'm constantly farming them for the 100k cookie quest. I tried switching to a lower version but that didn't make it stop.

I have run into this problem before, it seems the 1.1x versions of java have a bug with that.

I have switched to 1.9 Java and that fixed the problem, I can now hold down right click for my cocoa beans.

I saw on another post that if you punch the log, you can then place it on the log. sadly you have to do it every time. it is very annoying, hope it gets fixed soon.
