Chatting Before a Game Begins? ( Eggwars )

Not sure, need some help with this idea... I've been playing on CubeCraft ever since Eggwars has been a thing, and I've always wondered why they created it so that no person could talk before the match started.

I always thought it would be cool to talk to your enemies before a war, right? Anyway, let me know what you think about this!

This is many time suggested before. But I still don't see the point of this. Why would you talk for the last 10 seconds?

It's been suggested before to let donators talk before the game, and I support that. If everyone could chat before game it would just be filled with:

Sometimes it's longer, for example, why bore a player when you have to wait for more players?
